Little Orchard Academy of Dance provides engaging dance classes for young children, designed to inspire creativity, confidence, and a love of music and dance. Our classes also lay a strong foundation for those who may wish to pursue formal dance training and exams as they grow older.

Esther Orchard, the founder of Little Orchard Academy of Dance, began her dance journey at the age of three and went on to train at the prestigious Laine Theatre Arts. With a wealth of experience in dance technique, Esther has performed professionally around the world, enriching her understanding of movement and artistry.
Her passion for teaching children began when she started working with young students aged 2-18 and later as a nanny for babies and toddlers. This hands-on experience sparked her deep interest in child development and the positive impact dance can have on little ones. Esther observed that toddlers often have a natural desire to express their creativity, but may not always know how. She believes dance offers a perfect outlet for them to release their imagination, build confidence, and experience a sense of achievement. This insight led her to create Little Orchard Academy of Dance, where young children can explore their creative potential in a supportive and joyful environment.
At Little Orchard, our teachers are passionate, highly qualified professionals who have a natural gift for connecting with children. Having graduated from the top dance and musical theatre schools in the country, our teachers bring a wealth of experience and creativity to every class. They have a unique ability to bring lessons to life, infusing each session with energy, fun, and their own special touch. With the freedom to adapt exercises to meet the needs of the children in front of them, they ensure that each class is engaging, inspiring, and full of joy.
We had an amazing taster session with Miss Mia! She was so welcoming and the children gravitated towards her within seconds. She kept our 2-3 year olds engaged for 45 minutes!
